With its proximity to Tauranga Airport, the venue is ideally positioned for the business traveller. This is a most unique conference setting and being only 2 minutes from the airport, conference delegates will never have to fight the traffic! We are the perfect place to converge for a business meeting, with out-of-towners able to fly in and be on site within minutes. If you’re driving, there is also plenty of free off-street parking.

Our venues boast their own top-quality audio-visual systems, stylish décor and the practical equipment needed to carry out a successful business event.

We have also hosted many large events in the main Hangar ranging from Trade Shows to a multi-day Blue Light Drink Drive Expo that is held to promote safe drink drive practices to all the High Schools students in the local Bay of Plenty area.
Many other schools, charitable organisations, and groups have found that the flexibility and atmosphere offered by the hangar makes it an ideal location to hold their event when trying to make an impression upon their guests or customers.

And with large numbers of people attending the ready availablity of free parking at the museum makes it easy to attendees to get to.

Classic Flyers Venue Equipment Hire

Organising your function is easy with Classic Flyers because most of our venues already include the basic equipment required to run your function. The following items are included free of charge:
  • Datashow ProjectorHangar Lighting
  • Large wall mounted Projection Screen
  • Basic Audio microphone, amplifier and speaker system
  • White boards and pens
  • Use of a modular stage (9 units of 1.2m x 1.8m) in the Hangar

The following items are available at an additional hire charge:
  • Conference phone
  • Laptop (for use with projector)
  • Flipchart paper & pens
  • Electronic Whiteboard
  • Extra / large projector screens
  • Additional datashow projectors or other visual equipment
  • Wireless microphones
  • Specialised audio equipment and PA systems
  • Specialised spot or themed lighting
  • Specialised decorations and stage dressing

Classic Flyers works very closely with a local audio visual specialist company called Audio Solutionz. In consultation with this company we can provide a specialised lighting and sound solution to make your event something your will remember.
