The Camel, designed by Thomas Sopwith, was the highest scoring fighter of the First World War. This single-seat fighter took its name from the hump over the breeches of the two front machine guns; the nickname given it by one of the squadrons was rapidly adopted as the types' name. Snoopy flew the Camel Sopwith when he shot down the famous Red Baron in the song "Snoopy's Christmas". This plastic kitset model is suitable for children 8+. It contains an information pamphlet with the technical specifications of the Camel Sopwith. The model comes with the decals specific to the Allied forces. The kitset comes with it's own stand to grace any shelf in the house or office. The Camel Sopwith is 1 of 4 in a series of WW1 Classic Planes.
