Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Book - Kiwis Do Fly - Autographed Copy would interest you. Some six thousand New Zealanders volunteered during WW11 to serve as aircrew with RAF Bomber Command. Over two thousand were killed. Many more were injured or became prisoners of war yet the survivors still recall that `those were the best days of our lives`. `Kiwis do fly` is a highly illustrated collection of veterans experiences during training and on operations. They recal times on leave, friendships and tragedies and for some, the women they met and brought home as wives.
This copy has been autographed by Les Munro, Squadron Leader (retired) 617 Squadron, the sole surviving pilot from the famous Dambuster raid on Germany during the 2nd World War. For more information, please click
