Many stories and recollections of Bryan Cox's flying career both during the war and afterwards at Ardmore Airport where he spent the best part of his life instructing at the various flying clubs and schools.` About the author Bryan Cox is one of NZ most well known aviators. His contribution to aviation in this country is considerable. As a pilot in the RNZAF, he flew Corsair fighters on Pacific operations during WW2. Post war, he continued flying and amassed a total of over 21000 hours in the air. 18000 hours of this total time was spent teaching other people to fly and Bryan was the flight testing officer for the issue of nearly 600 private pilots licences.
